Bio:
As former Region 7 VP and past chair of our very
successful Technical Rescue competition, now as
president Randy is very committed to putting on
a great and challenging competition pulling out
all the stops. Randy is a certified EMT and Rescue
Instructor and works for Chevron Chemical Company.
Randy has been with IRECA for the past 8 years
and his hope for the future is to increase the
number of members from his region. |

Bio:
Sol doubles as the Chaplain, of 20 years, in our
Association. Sol was in the U.S. Marines until 1951
then married his wife Charlotte and they have 4
children. In his repertoire of experience, Sol attended
Indiana University, joined Kensington Fire Department
in 1959, is a life member of Bethesda Chevy Chase
Rescue Squad, and a Past President of the Montgomery
County Volunteer Fire Rescue Association.
In addition to
his vast experience in EMS, Sol is also a member
of the Masons, Past Master, Grand Master Cryptic
Masons of D.C., and Grand High Priest of Royal
Arch Masons in 1998-99. Sol joined IRECA in 1960
while still in the Kensington Fire Department
and has been a loyal member ever since.
Currently, Sol
works for Westat, INC in Maryland. His goal for
this region on the East Coast is to increase membership
along with communication among existing members. |

Bio:
In his duty of public relations, Bill has made contact
with interested persons from the United States and
abroad. He recently was able to supply an EMS team
in Russia with textbooks to further their technology
and recognition in the field of emergency medicine
in their country. Bill is an EMT-I, teacher, director
of the Opportunities in Emergency Health Care at
Spring Lake Park High School, and a self-defense
instructor. He brings youth teams from Minnesota
to compete at the IRECA First Responder and EMT
levels. He has been an IRECA member since 1982.

Bio:
Gary is very optimistic about our Associations future.
As Director of Osseo Senior High's Opportunities
in Emergency Health Care program, he maintains his
career influencing lives of teens and showing them
how to Dare to Care about their communities and
trains his students to attend International competition
in the youth division. |

Bio:
Serving as President from 1994 -1996, he is certified
as an EMT-B in the state of Virginia. He has worked
for Westvaco for 39 years and is currently in the
position of Maintenance Journeyman Millwright and
a member of Westvaco Rescue Squad. He is a veteran
of IRECA, Region 3, having been a member since 1988
years. His volunteer duties include, EMT at Large,
contest committee member and has served in the line
of offices beginning with Secretary/Treasurer and
working through the offices until becoming President.
In addition to
IRECA Charles is a Sunday School Teacher; High
School Football official; and Chaplain in Westvaco
Rescue Squad. He is an elected official in the
County of Alleghany serving as Member of The Board
of Supervisors. |

Bio:
Lloyd, in addition to being a past president, is
IRECA's historian. Whatever you want to know about
our organization he has the information or he will
find it. Lloyd joined us in 1956 and has served
in various areas from conference chair to Region
Vice President and up the lineage to President.
Outside of IRECA, Lloyd has started his own real
estate and insurance company. |

Bio:
Carol Anderson joined IRECA in 2000. She Certified
as an EMT in 1998, Carol is a member of Charleston
County Rescue Squad. Carol is also the Supervisor
of the Cartage Department with MeadWestvaco Corporation
and the President of MeadWestvaco EMS / Rescue Squad. |

Bio:
Our proud Canadian, Tom is very willing to work
with members of his country in the area of EMS.
He is a certified EMS Instructor Examiner. Tom is
a retired Chief of the Georgetown Volunteer Ambulance
Service and District Fire Chief of Georgetown's
Fire Department. As a 34 year veteran of IRECA Tom
received IRECA's highest recognition in 1985 when
he was honored with the Max Spray Award. Tom looks
forward to a future world champion team coming from
Canada. |

Bio:
Reggie has been a member of IRECA for the past 10
years. During that time, he has competed in EMT
and Technical Rescue competitions, and has also
served as a chief judge and now as Chairman for
Technical Rescue committee. A Certified EMT-I, Reggie
captains the Emergency Response Team at Chevron
Phillips Chemical Company. In addition, Reggie is
a 10 year certified Industrial Rescue Instructor
at the Texas A&M Fire School. Reggie
is committed to promoting IRECA's concept of rescue.
That is, using a minimum amount of equipment to
achieve a quick, safe, and effective rescue. |
