IRECA 2010 Competition

We have run 4 areas of competition:

• ALS
• BLS
• Technical Rescue
• Vehicle Extrication

Cost: There is a single charge of $50/person to compete- then you just have to decide what all you want to compete in.

First time competitor: If you haven't competed before, we still encourage you to come out. Our judges will move from evaluator to coach mode to help train you in how to compete at IRECA.

Youth Competitors: IRECA: Youth is a program where explorer, cadet, or school programs send young people with EMS training to compete at IRECA. These students compete on the same scenarios as the adult BLS teams but are ranked just against the other youth teams. There are usually 6-10 youth teams completing in the Wednesday BLS competition.
